Salutations! I am always thrilled to have visitors and share a cup of
tea and a good story. So let me introduce myself...
My name is Mary and I am a fairy elf. While it can be difficult at
times to hide pointy ears and butterfly wings, I wouldn't have it any other
way. My best friends are a mermaid princess and the Dragon Queen.
Often times you may spot me frolicking down sidewalks in medieval garb for no
particular reason [unless it is Hobbit Day... then it is very intentional!] or hosting tea parties on the lawn in frilly finery.
I am married to a darling prince and together we have started a brand new chapter of our lives in the lush countryside of rural Ontario. Is it challenging being so far away from everyone we hold dear? Yes, but we firmly believe we're where God wants us and are eager to make a difference in our community.
When I'm not daydreaming while completing chores about the house or catering to every whim of my adorable kitten Pippy Longstockings, I am either
crocheting, role-playing, editing other people's works, or visiting friends
over tea time. My
favourite past-time is creating characters and watching them take on their own
personalities and scribbling down the stories they tell me.
I firmly believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and my desire is to bring honour to
His name through everything I do. To God be the glory!
Well friends, that's me in a nutshell!
Mary! Your blog is beautiful! I need to frequent here more often ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Jane! I do hope to keep it worth coming back to. :)
DeleteI love your "head piece" (what do you call it? diadem?)
ReplyDeleteI also like your blog :)
Thanks! It's a circlet. (Or tiara if you want to be modern) The lady who makes them is quite talented! http://www.medievalbridalfashions.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=55
